The pass includes two yellow unlimited ride passes, two sideshow games, two beverages, two bags of fairy floss, a Wild Mouse souvenir photo and a 10% off voucher for a single transaction on the evening. 2. Sir Stamford’s Candle-Lit Dinner Experience
Romeo, Romeo, where art thou? …Apparently he is at the Sir Stamford at Circular Quay! The opulent 5 Star hotel located in the iconic Circular Quay is hosting a ‘Romeo & Juliet Dinner’ on both Saturday and Sunday evenings this weekend in honour of Sir Valentine. With a glass of French Champagne and a 3-course menu designed by Chef Santosh served in the intimate candle-lit surroundings of the Dining Room, this is certainly our pick for the most romantic of dinner experiences!
Bookings from 5.30pm on both Saturday 13th February and Sunday 14th February 2016. $199 per couple (2 guests) includes a glass of French Champagne on arrival and a 3 course meal.
3. Movies under the stars with MTV’s outdoor cinema
Daze into your loved ones eyes under the stars with the Sydney Hills Outdoor Cinema. Presented by MTV, they have teamed up with companies such as Wats On Tap, Messina, Vale Brewing and The Tuckshop to create a unique movie viewing experience that will lead to some serious smooching in the moonlight! The movie of the evening is the hilarious new comedy; Sisters starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
The DJ starts at 6.30pm and movie commences at 8.00pm. Get in early to get a good spot. Tickets start from $19.20 for general admission and can be pre-purchased online or at the door until sold out.
4. Hunter Valley Picnic Escape
Leave the hustle and bustle of Sydney behind so you can really concentrate on the love of your life in front of you (we mean the tall glass of red)….but your partner too! Take a bit of an adventure further up north to the stunning Hunter Valley and pre-order yourself a picnic basket from Mojo’s Picnic Company. It comes complete with cutlery, plates, napkins and glasses but keep in mind they need 48 hours’ notice for all orders.
Pre-order at least 48 hours prior. Feast for 2 is $90 and check out their other packages available.
5. The Sydney Morning Herald’s Lunar Markets
Combine your Valentine’s Day with a celebration of the Lunar New Year at the innovative pop-up Lunar Market’s presented by The Star at Pyrmont Bay Park. Take a stroll hand in hand through the markets enjoying foods from all around Asian or grab a comfy seat and have a few drinks together, but however you choose to enjoy the markets, be sure to check out the Lunar Bamboo Garden! Our very own Stylist; Courtney Fitzgerald-Power worked with Yakusan to design the Parasol canopy.
Event is free entry into the markets daily from 4pm on Saturday 13th February and Sunday 14th February 2016.
