On Valentine’s day this year Divine Events took part in the Luna Park Wedding Showcase. You may not know this but Luna Park has several event spaces to hire. As well as a theme park it opens its doors to hundreds of bride and grooms each year to give their special day a little touch of magic. If it is a spectacular backdrop you are after then, Luna Park is the right choice, boosting Sydney harbour views and a quirky theme park right in the heart of Sydney city.
Our friends over at O’neil & Page captured the showcase beautifully and below are a handful of photos snapped up by this talented pair.
Divine Events was given the task of styling a wedding reception. The bridal party table and eight guest tables were decorated to look like an alluring enchanted garden. Using a bright colour scheme of coral, and green on a crisp white linen base, the table settings popped in the light and airy venue. Place settings were set with glass show plates and an individual apple. Gold metallic accents took up a good portion of the overall look of this design, making this enchanted garden seem opulent and sophisticated.
Below we can see the detail in the bridal party table setting. It oozes style and beauty. This setting is so inviting, I feel compelled to sit underneath the trailing phalaenopsis orchids and bunches of coral coloured roses. This is a table setting fit for a king and queen.
In addition to styling the enchanted garden wedding reception, Divine Events had an expo booth to style as well. Here the girls spoke to a number of prospecting brides and grooms about how they could style their big day in the Luna Park venues.
The colour scheme of white and green with burst of copper and blonde wood give the expo booth a fresh and modern look. Trawling ivy, and copper candlesticks, hint to the core of the Divine Events style and geometric shaped vases and ornaments give this look a stylish edge.
Meet the team! This is Lara, Emma and Paige. The stylists behind the Divine Events expo booth and wedding reception.
Thanks O’neil & Page for the great images.
