Zest at The Spit is a relaxed, rustic boathouse with timber and stone features and gold-leaf painted ceilings. Our client wanted to enhance the lovely features of this venue and create an elegant atmosphere for their intimate dinner.
The colour palette was kept neutral with custom made linen table cloths and napkins, paired with dark timber Bentwood chairs. To complement the gold-leaf ceilings and add warmth, bronze show plates were introduced to the table. Each table consisted of a trio of gold wire candlesticks mixed into a natural, long and loose flowing table runner featuring dark, chocolate foliage with pops of tiny white flowers. Copper and gold tealights were scattered through the runners to further enrich the tablescape.
Brass pendant lights were suspended at varying heights over the tables, and above the stage to add another layer into the space.
