Jim Dimitriou - Managing Director
In 2000 Jim completed an honors degree in Economics at University of Sydney majoring in Accounting and Marketing. After being on a rigorous graduate program with American fund giant State Street, Jim quickly identified his entrepreneurial skills. Jim launched the Divine Events company with his partner Stacey in 2002 putting his finance acumen to excellent use. Divine Events quickly became one of Sydney's leading styling companies under the strong leadership and guidance of Jim. He has become among the most respected and committed identities in the events industry, while managing an excellent team of dedicated staff. His values of integrity, dedication and exceeding client expectations has gained him the respect of his colleagues, clients and peers alike. His excellent financial management of company budgets ensures the prosperous expansion of divine events.
Stacey Dimitriou - Sales and Marketing Director
Stacey completed a Bachelor of Economics degree at University of Sydney in 2000 majoring in Marketing and Human Resource Management. Stacey gained entry to the Colonial First State Graduate program with secondments to the event and marketing teams. A strong interest in event styling emerged and thus Stacey joined Jim in the establishment of divine events. Her exceptional people skills has propelled divine events into the specialist event market, gaining among Sydney's leading companies as clients. Stacey's natural styling ability allows clients to be amazed with creative ideas and concepts. Her enthusiasm and passion for decor is contagious to her team and clients alike.
Roy Simpson - Senior Production Manager
Roy has extensive production and logistic experience and having worked in various Sydney event companies specialising in road show operations. He joined divine events in 2008 in the capacity of production assistant and was soon promoted to production coordinator. Recently Roy has been further promoted to Production Manager managing a versatile and efficient internal crew. Roy ensures that all divine events are executed impeccably and effectively oversees our pre-production and supplier processes. His outstanding ability to ensure all pre-event logistics are looked after makes him a highly valued and respected senior manager.
Tegan Burford - Senior Event Styling Manager
Tegan joined the Divine Events team in mid 2011. Tegan has been in the event industry for the past five years. Her flair for design and perfectionist creativity makes her an asset to the Divine Events team, styling both weddings and corporate events. With a logistic and production event background, Tegan is able to create both visually striking yet functional event space. Tegan has an infectious personality bringing energy and excitement to all she works with.
Stephanie Haslett - Wedding Stylist
Before joining Divine, Stephanie previously worked as a wedding coordinator at various Sydney venues with extensive experience helping couples make their wedding day a memorable and beautiful experience. Recently married, Stephanie brings the joy and passion of a bride, combined with the attention to detail and event experience of a stylist. The enthusiasm, passion and energy that Stephanie puts into her work is positively infectious and makes her a great asset to our team.
Anna studied event styling at the Whitehouse Institute of Design, and has been working as a wedding planner and event stylist in the Sydney industry for the past six years. Anna has an acute eye for design and with experience in event management ensures every event is executed with the utmost detail. Passionate and driven Anna is inspired by all of the creative possibilities of event design. We cannot wait to see how Anna's imaginative ideas inspire fantastic future events!
Matt Cadman - Production Manager
Having worked in events for close to two years, Matt is a welcomed addition to the Divine Events team. Matt has excelled in his role as a production supervisor showing strong leadership and problem solving skills. He always has a smile and a positive attitude that makes him a pleasure to work with. Matt is primarily responsible for overseeing internal delegation when preparing and packing jobs ensuring all events have the right elements to be executed with perfection.

Tom is an experienced carpenter and prop builder, assisting the production team with custom builds and designs. He shows a great attention to detail, and a creative process that results in meticulously produced products that continue to wow our clients. Tom always approaches his work with a brilliant attitude, and nothing is ever too hard for him to imagine and build.
John Nguyen - Production Supervisor
John has been with Divine since 2010 and is on our highly efficient production team. Johnny always brings great enthusiasm and vibrancy to all his responsibilities and his beaming smile is undeniably infectious. He recently completed a Diploma of Event Management & Tourism and is a very capable and committed team member and has rapidly grown throughout his induction training period.
